4/18 Friday Favorites- Only Two Things

If you read my website regularly you know that I always talk about how early I have to wake up to go to work.  While I enjoy my job, I am not a big fan of going to bed before the sun goes down and waking up in the middle of the night.  However, there are certain perks.  This past week for instance……my two most favorite moments of the week.

On Tuesday I was at work just chugging along as usual and I just happen to glance back behind me and it caught my eye.  That green Masters jacket was right behind me.  And this years winner wearing it.  Yes, Bubba Watson decided to make a surprise visit to our show.  And he didn’t tell anyone.  Not even the producers knew.  It was truly a surprise.  Such a treat for all of us.  He had only won the Masters two days before.

Then, on Thursday, the winner of this year’s first LPGA Major (Kraft Nabisco Championship) stopped by.  Lexi Thompson has been on the show before but this was her first visit back since winning her first major just under two weeks ago.  Anyone that knows me would know that the LPGA is my thing.  I love following the tour.

I don’t really get a chance to meet many of the guests so I can never get any pictures but it’s still a thrill to be part of it all.

That’s all I have for my Friday Favorites- it was just an exciting week for me.  Even if you don’t follow golf, you probably have still heard of The Masters.  That tournament as well as the LPGA’s Kraft Nabisco Championship are the first of only a handful of “major” tournaments that are played during the golfing season.  It is a very big deal to win a major in the sport of golf.

This makes me want to spend the weekend out on the course working on my game.  However, I am sure Chad will reel me back into reality as we continue working on a few of our spring cleaning projects this weekend.
