Birthday Goodies

How I love Fridays, right? Last week was certainly a chaotic and busy week. I had a number of events to attend and my best friend from college was in town with her daughter. Thankfully this week I had a little time to play catch up. I have a busy weekend planned but not before we take a little overnight trip to Tampa to see Zoominations at the Tampa Lowry Zoo. It’s a big night time festival with Chinese lanterns- I’ve never been and I hear it’s really neat to see.

So anyway, as with every Friday, it’s time to reflect on what made us laugh, smile and love this week. I am linking up with Heather from Life in Leggings for the Friday Favorites party. I’ll get to that bundt cake in a few…..

First of all, Chad took me to lunch on Wednesday. I still have a handful of coupons from restaurants for free meals I got for my birthday. We went to Uno’s Pizzeria, one of the only chain restaurants I like to go to. I love to order the glazed walnut, blueberry and goat cheese salad with an individual sized deep dish pizza.

Well, with all the menu changes over the years, they dropped some of my most favorites pizzas. One of which is the ‘Shroom Deep Dish Pizza– but for a limited time they’ve brought back some of the old classics. I had the individual size pan pizza and the glazed walnut and goat cheese salad. For free. Because it was my birthday.

After lunch we hit Ulta just next door to pick up my birthday month surprise. This year they are giving away an Urban Decay glide-on eye pencil. But then, I had a couple coupons and ended up walking away with three nail colors, a dry oil nail treatment, two lip butter balm tubes and the eye pencil for less than $12. Score!!

Upon arriving home, I had a box waiting on me from Influenster. I got my April Bella VoxBox filled with goodies for me to review. The box contained:

And lastly, there’s this. Because both Chad and I are both e-club members over at Nothing Bundt Cakes, every April we each get a free bundtlet. These are some of the moistest most delicious cakes I have ever tasted. I love this place.
