Deli Fresh Threads #SandwichEatUp

Last month I spoke at a blogging conference here in Orlando with two of my fellow local writers- Jen Vargas of Central Florida Top 5 and Anthony “Biggie” Bencomo of Deli Fresh Threads. We spoke about the challenges of balancing blogging and other life commitments. I think our session was well received and it was a lot of fun. While I have known Jen for quite some time, it was the first time I had a great deal of interaction with Anthony. I learned quite a lot about his brand. So Deli Fresh Threads was born out of his love for both sandwiches and T-shirts, something that we all eat and something that we all wear.

As part of the Deli Fresh Threads branding, Anthony hosts a monthly #SandwichEatUp at various eateries in Central Florida. I experienced my first Eat Up at Peterbrooke Chocolatier in Winter Park, Florida. A SandwichEatUp at a chocolatier? Why yes, when that chocolatier serves ice cream sandwiches of course!!

I attended a second #SandwichEatUp the next month, coincidentally also at an ice cream shop, to celebrate Anthony’s birthday. This time at Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream in the Audubon neighborhood of Orlando. However, most the the #EatUps are at actual sandwich establishments like Hot Krust Panini Kitchen or  East Orlando’s own Meatball Stoppe. I personally am quite partial to those ice cream sandwiches however, and Anthony’s #SandwichEatUp meet ups are a lot of fun.

As part of the conference “attire” for our session, we all agreed to wear one of the T-shirts from the Deli Fresh Threads line. Anthony allowed me to pick  shirt from the Deli Fresh Threads website, and he gave me the shirt via “sandwich delivery.” Check out the video below of the unveiling of shirt- I think receiving the shirt in the mail is a huge part of the fun. And this was standard delivery – as in, this is how all the T-shirts are sent out.

I had a hard time picking out just one shirt, in the end, it was my beloved city of Philadelphia that won out with a Cheesesteak shirt. However, there are so many other cities and styles to choose from. What’s your favorite sandwich- the Fluffernutter? The Cuban? The S’more?

I have gotten so many compliments on my Cheesesteak T-shirt. And for those of you who asked- here is where I got it!!

Here is how it works- this will be a place for bloggers to share their work with brands- sponsored posts, giveaways and general screaming from the rooftops about brands you love!! It does not have to be sponsored, it could merely be a mention of a snack or a shoe you are loving this week. But PLEASE- no corporate bloggers, please be an individual freelance blogger with your own domain and not a writer for someone else’s. That’s all I ask. Super easy- just tell me what you are loving this week- whether it is a brand, a product, a giveaway- whatever!! Your link can be from your post on Friday or any post from this week featuring or talking about a brand that you love. Did you love the yogurt you had at breakfast? Post it! There will be lots of PR eyes on this link up starting this week so you never know who will click on your post.

Just add your post to the blue button below.

I am also joining the Friday blog party with Heather from Life in Leggings, and Andrea from Momfessionals. So let’s get this party started!
