Hummus Made Easy – Featured Friday Link Up #10

Share the love :)

Happy Friday everyone!! Here we are – less than a week from Thanksgiving!! What are your plans? I have NONE. No plans. AND I CANNOT WAIT. I have been on the road non stop for the last three months and I soooooo happy to finally have a week off at home. Last year we were actually in New York City and we were able to see the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade live and in person. While it was a childhood wish come true, I am happy to not be battling the cold weather. I will be watching the parade right from the comfort of my own couch. I suppose Mr. Beet and I will make a big meal out of vegetables and  watch football the rest of the day.

As part of our meal I plan on making a big bowl of hummus. However, since it is just the two of us, I am not planning on making it from scratch. I found a super easy shortcut- have you seen this in the stores? This Bush Beans Hummus Made Easy can be found in the same aisle as the canned beans and I can say it is super easy to make, and super delicious to eat!

I am not a fan of pre-packaged food very often as it is often stuffed with preservatives, chemicals and additives. However, this Hummus Made Easy is nothing more than water, tahini, olive oil, garlic and lemon juice, plus a few other ingredients like onion powder and tomato paste depending on which flavor you try. I prefer the black bean, but there is also a traditional and a roasted red pepper flavor.

Super easy to make- simply add the Hummus Made Easy pouch to a can of black or garbanzo beans, puree in the food processor and serve.

What are your plans for Thanksgiving?

And now it’s your turn- link up your favorite post of the week below and meet some new blogging friends!!

Here is how it works- this will be a place for bloggers to share their work with brands- sponsored posts, giveaways and general screaming from the rooftops about brands you love!! It does not have to be sponsored, it could merely be a mention of a snack or a shoe you are loving this week. But PLEASE- no corporate bloggers, please be an individual freelance blogger with your own domain and not a writer for someone else’s. That’s all I ask. Super easy- just tell me what you are loving this week- whether it is a brand, a product, a giveaway- whatever!! Your link can be from your post on Friday or any post from this week featuring or talking about a brand that you love. Did you love the yogurt you had at breakfast? Post it! There will be lots of PR eyes on this link up starting this week so you never know who will click on your post.

Just add your post to the blue button below.

I am also joining the Friday blog party with Heather from Life in Leggings, and Andrea from Momfessionals. So let’s get this party started!

Dear, Anna Marie, it's a lovely post. I am also not a big fan of prepackaged food but I will definitely search it on the stores. Is it really as simple as you told. Ok, I must try to collect and prepare this. Thanks for the wonderful post. bye bye.

I love the Macy's parade! This thanksgiving it will most likely just be my husband and I as well unless a few friends stop over after their family meals. We always make way too much food and I'm eating leftovers for what feels like weeks. And I love that this hummus sounds like it has clean ingredients. Sometimes I just really don't feel like making certain things myself!
