Love Beets salads

I was approached by the Love Beets company to sample and write a review of their products.  I was already very familiar with the Baby Love Beets line.  Small slightly larger than bite-sized beets marinated in various spices and flavors, ready for a quick snack or to throw into a  salad.  We use them often in salads.  Easier to work with and more flavorful than canned beets.

Little Beets

First, let’s talk about the benefits of beets.  They combat “bad” cholesterol, fight anemia and fatigue and help stabilize blood pressure.  They are also excellent for a healthy heart and strong bones.  Beets provide a zesty dose of anti-oxidants into the body and are proven to be anti-flammatory.  OK, enough about the mumbo jumbo of the benefits of beets.  Obviously, from the name of my blog, I am a fan.

Love Beets Caeser Salad

Love Beets was started by a husband and wife, Guy and Katherine Shropshire, who bought a beet farm in England.  Their goal was to introduce this healthy veggie to a younger generation.

Love Beets

There are five varieties of the Baby Love Beets including flavors like honey & ginger and my personal favorite, Sweetfire.  These baby beets are portable- easy to throw into a lunch bag.

Beets and Chickpeas

They are also ready to toss onto a salad, add some chickpeas and you’ve got a incredibly healthy lunch.

Carrots, Beets, Celery smoothie

However, have you ever considered adding beets to your morning smoothie?  How about throwing beets into the juicer with some carrots, celery, apples and pears?

Love Beets juice

There is also a line of beets juices.  I liked them very much myself but you definitely have to be a big fan of beets.  These were like drinking straight beets.

Beets juice

I happened to love the juices but they may be more suited to mix with some other juices so you can still reap the benefits without the strong flavor.

Beets Beauty and the Beets

I eat beets on almost every salad I fix at home and these are incredibly easy to use and go.  Love Beets are gluten-free, all natural and certified Kosher.  There are two organic products, the Baby Beets in mild vinegar and the cooked beets.  I happen to love every one of the flavors.

Love Beets and Flax Seed

Love Beets are found at most Whole Foods and specialty grocer outlets.  They can also be found at select Target, Sweetbay and Krogers grocery stores.

For more information visit the Love Beets website here.

I have two coupons for a free Love Beets product.  Just leave a comment below and two winners will be picked at random.  Share the Love Beets!

Juicing raw beets is so messy. Love Beets juice is the answer to my prayers. SO good!
