So in February I had the pleasure of seeing Guy Fieri at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando. And it was awesome. Guy Fieri was the second of three celebrity cuisine extraordinaires in the Publix Chef Series. This month, the series will wrap up with its third and final show with Emeril Lagasse. And guess who has a pair of tickets to giveaway to YOU? BAM! That’s right- this Beet does!

Your evening will begin with a sampling of treats by Chefs from the Publix Apron Cooking Schools. Just as an example, we noshed on tasty samples of Sweet Potato Apple Vichyssoise and Cheesecake at the Guy Fieri event, so I expect the food at Emeril’s show to be just as tasty.

You will then be treated to a performance by Emeril Lagasse as he prepares his favorite New Orleans recipes live on stage. He will answer your questions and share stories of his amazing journey with food.

After the show, Emeril will be on hand to sign his latest cookbook Essential Emeril.

And if that wasn’t enough, the entire evening will be hosted by Mr. John Rivers of 4Rivers BBQ, a guy who could easily have his own show in the Publix Chef Series at the Dr. Phillips Center, right?

Favorite dish by Emeril. That's a hard one but leaning towards nostalgic. My husband and I got married in NOLA (where I met you IRL!) and our fist lunch date on our first visit there 4 years ago was at Emerils. As non New Orleans as this may be, the Burger at Emerils was off the chain. I do make his creole recipes at home quite often though.
