Today, as our country celebrates Democracy and watches Donald Trump become the 45th President of the United States, Madame Tussauds Orlando unveils its newest wax figure. Donald Trump now stands in the Oval Office at Madame Tussauds in New York City, Washington DC, London and Orlando.

Shortly after the Presidential candidates were announced in June, work began on the wax figurine of Donald Trump. Each wax figure takes approximately 20 artists and sculptors three to six months from idea to execution.

Interestingly enough, Donald Trump is actually the first President to have already had a wax figure on display at Madame Tussauds. In 1997, Trump had a sitting at the New York City museum and a figure was made of him.

Yesterday, on the eve of the inauguration, I was invited to attend a press conference to witness the unveiling of Donald Trump. We were able to grab a few pictures with the figure before he was moved to his official residence at the museum’s Oval Office.

Sadly, the arrival of Trump meant the removal of Barrack Obama. But no worries, he is watching the new President carefully from his post in the same room.

However, if you are not a fan of viewing Trump in the Oval Office, there are plenty of other “people” you can talk to and take pictures with. I didn’t leave Madame Tussauds without learning what Neil Patrick Harris was up to, and scooped on the latest gossip with Jim Parsons.

Also an interesting fact, the minute Madame Tussauds learned of the split between Brad Pitt and Angelia Jolie, their wax figurines were immediately separated.

Madame Tussauds Orlando is located in the I-Drive 360 complex, under the watchful Coco-Cola Orlando Eye observation wheel. Other attractions include the Sea Life Aquarium and several shops, restaurants and concert venues. Get your tickets for Madame Tussauds here!

*Thank you to Madame Tussauds for providing a few of the pictures contained in this post. I work in a partnership with the I-Drive 360 complex which gains me access to many of their events and attractions, however all opinions are my own. Thank you for your support*
