Welcome to another edition of What I Ate Wednesday! I like doing these posts because I feel like I am held accountable for eating a little healthier when I have to document my food, like this time when I ate a lot of fruits and veggies. Do you find that you do the same thing?
Let’s jump right in, shall we? Here is What I Ate
I always skip the coffee at work (I know crazy, right?) and drink a cup of hot water with lemon. After a cup or two of that, I switch to green tea. I find this does a better job of waking me up than coffee does.
Most days I bring a little something to snack on. I work on a TV show from 7-9 so for two hours I am usually stuck sitting in one spot so I need my food to be portable and snack-ready. Usually I bring yogurt or fruit. This particular week I stocked up on cranberries- easy to eat on the go.
Veggie rolls. I love vegetables, in any form and these are easy to pick up at my local Publix.
I made an egg sandwich, again piling on the vegetables. It was a rather light day for food- I do usually eat more. I think my anxiety is running higher than normal as I am preparing for surgery on Friday and I am terribly nervous. I think that has been greatly affecting my appetite the past few days.
