4/11 Friday Favorites- Random Things

Share the love :)

Happy Friday!  One day left until the weekend- how excited are you?  Chad and I have a few things planned- we are doing a 5K race at Legoland and then we are spending the weekend cleaning out the garage.  Who wants to come help?

Before I start digging into boxes of old memories and setting up piles of things to donate, I am going to reflect on my favorite things this week.  These are just random things that have made me smile this week.

1.  The weather

Beauty at IOA

Hopefully we will have great weather for the race and I hope it doesn’t get too hot while we spend the rest of the weekend in the garage.  This is why I love Florida.  It is this time of year when the high is in the mid-70’s and the skies are clear and blue.  I just love it.

2. Bella Taylor bags

Bella Taylor bag

I had always been a big fan of Vera Bradley bags.  I love the bright colors and fancy designs but they are expensive.  Chad’s Mother recently introduced me to Bella Taylor bags.  They are just as colorful and fun as the Vera Bradley versions and significantly less costly.   I carry my bag with me just about everyday.  I have the bag above and now I am wanting the one below.

3. Flameless candles

Candles

Another thing Chad’s parents have gotten for us.  We were visiting them for Christmas in Indiana one year and I fell in love with their flameless candles they had over the fireplace.  About a month later we received a box with our own candles.  We use them every single night.  They have a timing device so they turn on every evening around 6:30 and turn off on their own long after we have fallen asleep.  They flicker like real candles.  I sometimes have to double check that they are not the real thing!

4. Amy’s soups

Amy's soups

Amy’s has such a great selection of soups for Vegetarians and Vegans.  I think we have tried them all.  My most favorite is the Lentil soup and there isn’t one I don’t enjoy.  Even as the weather gets warmer and warmer we are still having soup for dinner with a nice salad and some crusty bread.

5. Panera Bread

Panera

A year ago Chad and I had these buy one get one coupons from Panera bread.  We had about 20 of them so we ate Panera almost every night for a month before the coupons expired.  Needless to say it took us a while to go back.  We stopped in a few weeks ago and I have been craving Panera ever since.  It’s healthy.  It’s delicious.  It’s relatively inexpensive.  And I adore their lemonade.  They have a new Spinach salad now too that is awesome (without the bacon of course.)

Good luck on your 5K! I keep trying to convince myself to do one-- one day I will! And Panera is my go to eating out locale!

Cassie- You should do a 5K even if just to walk it (which is what I mostly do)- there are always a lot of people that just walk them. They are so much fun!!

Everything is great. Hopefully, our weather up here will finally stay warmish.
