Mr. Beet and I found a cool little coffee shop on a recent trip to Sandusky, Ohio. We were staying at the Hotel Kilbourne and found ourselves looking for a local spot where we could grab some coffee and a light breakfast before we began our day. We found Mr. Smith’s Coffee House on Columbus Avenue.
We visited twice. The first trip I had one of their featured coffees- the Maple Nut. And I enjoyed the pumpkin roll.
Mr. Beet had a simple toasted bagel.
The second trip I ordered the frozen Mocha Latte. I loved how super rich it was.
I also had a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, while Mr. Beet had a bagel with an egg.
Mr. Smith’s Coffee House also offers a small menu of deli sandwiches, black bean burgers, paninis, and salads.
